#75 Put on Your Blinders…

Have you ever faced a season in your life where you just feel lost in a sea of mud? Maybe you are facing judgement and condemnation, maybe you are feeling pressured or rejected, maybe you are busy and overwhelmed. Whatever the situation is, the idea of running your race can feel downright daunting. In today’s long-overdue podcast, I share from the perspective of someone who is making all kinds of mistakes. I share my current season and my own doubts and insecurities. And I share both for my own sake and for anyone else who is there in the trenches with me, proclamations of truth that I need to ground myself in to make it through.

We are not alone.
We are not abandoned.
We aren’t called to anyone else’s race.
Keep your eyes on Jesus and Him alone.

  1. Hi Rebecca!

You are such an absolute blessing!!! Thank you for sharing your heart so beautifully and with such transparency! This message was very encouraging to keep pressing forward, even when it feels so hard and overwhelming at times. Also, such a good reminder about what is the most important thing in homeschooling, which is to develop Godly character. I will pray for supernatural strength as you continue to follow Holy Spirits leading!

  2. These are important words. It hits the gut. Putting your blinders on – attack from the inside – finding out people arent who you thought they were – the pressing down and shaking that comes with the measure that God gives us. Mercy. Mercy Lord. Protection Lord. Strength & endurance. I’m praying for your family – INTERCEDING, that HIS VOICE IS CRYSTAL. The calling high which means the level of intensity and fight will be high. Preach it girl, SPEAK IT, He will NOT ABANDONED, you are NOT ALONE> YES, HE WILL PICK UP THE SLACK because He is a GOOD FATHER> I can relate with the pressure of friends and family, the criticism, the wrestling of his calling when you have a family to care for. We will press on for the mark of the High Calling!

  3. Great article! I like reading your blog, please keep it up. You motivate me very much and I am grateful to you for that. Maybe one day I will start doing business really effectively and be able to help children in need. All the best!

  4. Now I know what to do in difficult or stressful situations – go to this site. I was completely satisfied with a written paper the first time – logical structure, strong arguments. Exactly what I needed.
