Homeschool Bullet Journal Video

If there is one thing I have learned as a homeschool mom, it is that each of us learn in a different way. I like to create content custom tailored to the way you naturally enjoy hearing it. If you prefer to read this post, head here for a picture walk through and description of my homeschool bullet journal. If you need to see it in action and hear my explanation, then this homeschool bullet journal video is for you! Don’t forget to pin it to your homeschool board for later!

These collections are a great way to organize your big picture planning! Stay tuned for more posts on looping, the morning basket, other homeschool planning posts, and how we do our monthly assess nights/pages with our kids! PLUS an upcoming post all about how I plan more of the day-to-day goals for our family (without actually doing a lot of time-consuming scheduling that in our house, manages to fall behind every time!).

Creating a Planning Routine

As bullet journaling rises in popularity, I’ve noticed there is a lack of real-life support out there. So many amazing bullet journalists showcase their stunning pages (and make the real life mom with her kids’ pencil crayons feel like crap) and talk about how easy it is. I just want to make a blanket statement here… whether or not it is “easy” is not the issue here. The fact is, those people whom I love and follow and drool over their work… spend HOURS planning and creating. As a busy mom, most of us don’t have that luxury. Tomorrow’s post I will be talking about creating a planning routine. If you can’t stick with planning, it might be because you aren’t making room for it in your day and my routine is NOT something that takes a lot of time! The day after we’ll be talking about minimalist bullet journaling, what that looks like, and hopefully put your mind at ease a bit if your pages look less than professional quality. So stay tuned!

Did you know this is part of a 31 day series? There will be a post each day this month showcasing how I use bullet journaling, planning, hand lettering, and more! We will talk about the tools you need and I’ll review some of my pen hoard (including my brand new flex fountain pens, eeeeek!). There will be videos, pictures, hand lettering practise pages, doodle challenges, journaling prompts, some amazing giveaways, and hopefully a TON of inspiration to get you writing in your planner, whatever that may look like for you! How can you get on board?
