It’s another Favorite things Friday over here at Hip Homeschooling and I have an exciting announcement you’ll want to be sure to check out so keep reading!

This week has been quite honestly insane. Really not much different from last week. Full of camping, working working and more working, and topped off with a mad flurry of packing for our big road trip.

This week we got to watch our butterflies emerge from their chrysalis’! It was such a treat and I even made a video of how we fed them! Make sure you check it out here at, “How to Raise, Feed, and Care for your Butterflies!

Erin did a fantastic guest post about unschooling titled, “Do Unschoolers Use Curriculum?” If you have been wondering what unschoolers use, it is a very interesting read full of information!

Lastly, we learned about “Where Does our Food Come From?” in Mother Goose Time. We made our own vegetable garden and took them off to market to see what we could sell them for. This was such a fun activity integrating creativity and math skills and the kids had a hoot.
